And in our context, our staff brought vastly different experiences which made consistency a real challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Newer teachers were still building their understanding of the PYP. Learning how its different elements connect. Experienced educators had developed strong practices over the years, but they\u2019d settled into familiar rhythms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Toddle AI met each teacher where they were. For newer teachers, it became an experienced PYP mentor of sorts that helped them weave ATLs in more authentic and see how their activities connected to the central idea. For experienced educators, it became their creative companion. It opened up fresh possibilities for provocations. Brought new energy to units they\u2019d planned many times before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, Toddle AI became the teammate everyone wanted to work with. And the bigger win? It helped every teacher plan to a higher standard, at every stage. No matter the background. No matter the experience level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"h-here-s-how-toddle-ai-helped-our-teachers-at-different-stages-of-planning\"><strong>Here\u2019s how Toddle AI helped our teachers at different stages of planning:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-co-planning-authentic-inquiries\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Co-planning authentic inquiries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Planning a high quality learning experience used to take our teachers 2-3 hours. With Toddle AI, the same work takes less than half that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Take our Grade 2<em> How We Organize Ourselves<\/em> unit. We wanted students to explore community systems through a Chinese lens on citizenship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">One of our more experienced teachers explored the idea with Toddle AI, and it helped shape a clear plan: students split into three groups, each modelling a different community system. Student agency through role assignment, collaborative learning, and metacognition built right into the reflection step. With a few tweaks to the groups and roles, she turned it into a full learning experience in about twenty minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">For me, this is what co-planning with AI looks like. The teacher steers the work, sets the priorities for their learners, while Toddle AI helps bring their vision to life faster than they ever could alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-localising-inquiry-for-the-chinese-context\" data-topic=\"Localising inquiry for the Chinese context\">Localising inquiry for the Chinese context<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Planning in China always comes with an extra layer of thought. We\u2019re particularly careful about examples, sources, and resources. It\u2019s important that everything fits our local guidelines and still feels authentic for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">When you add local context on Toddle AI \u2013 for us, China \u2013 it automatically localises the resources and examples it suggests. But more importantly, it helps especially our newer teachers plan confidently \u2013 knowing their resources are relevant and appropriate to the setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-differentiation-built-in-more-intentionally\" data-topic=\"Differentiation built in more intentionally\">Differentiation built in more intentionally<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Differentiation sits at the heart of good teaching, but it\u2019s also the part most squeezed by time. Too often scaffolds and extensions are bolted on after the core activity, which means they don\u2019t always match the conceptual focus or learning goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In our Grade 4 <em>Migration<\/em> unit, one of our teachers used Toddle AI to plan those supports alongside the main task. After designing the core learning experience, she simply prompted the AI to \u2018add scaffolding instructions.\u2019 Within seconds, it produced sentence starters, visual supports, and extension ideas. It isn\u2019t vague. It shows what \u201cemerging,\u201d \u201cdeveloping,\u201d and \u201cmastery\u201d looks like for the assigned task and ties to the same conceptual focus we\u2019d planned for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">That kind of judgement usually comes only with teaching experience.
