Given the vast array of choices, as well as your enthusiasm of sharing interesting texts with your students, selecting appropriate texts can feel a bit like going down a rabbit hole. To get you started, we\u2019ve put together a curated collection of 36 engaging<strong> non-literary bodies of work<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Featuring 12 different non-literary text types \u2013 including music videos, advertisements, and comics \u2013 this highly-browsable collection is designed to support your planning process. The collection houses non-literary texts from a range of writers, producers, artists, and speakers \u2013 Christiane Amanpour, Stanley Kubrick, Scott McCloud, Bren\u00e9 Brown \u2013 and can be flexibly adapted to suit your students\u2019 learning needs. For every body of work, the collection also highlights the following:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Suggested <strong>literary works<\/strong> &#8211; perfect for pairing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommendations for <strong>supplemental texts<\/strong> &#8211; YouTube videos, additional works, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Related <strong>global issues and concepts<\/strong> &#8211; a big help for assessments and classroom teaching<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group learnings has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fff6f3\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ideas-for-using-the-resource\">Ideas for using the resource:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Browse the collection like a lifelong learner!
