The outdoors has something that no indoor space can offer – fresh air, sunshine, the freedom to move around and multi-sensory experiences! Extending learning opportunities beyond the four walls of the classroom offers a world of new and exciting experiences not just for the children, but for us all! It’s a place where imagination can run wild, and creativity can flourish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we know what you’re thinking – What about the weather? How do I get started? How do I facilitate inquiry if we are outside? How do I explain the benefits of taking learning outside?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This toolkit has been put together to help address these concerns, provide you with practical ideas and strategies on how to create opportunities for learning, and build natural curiosity and wonder among children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
