“We do not learn from experience… we learn from reflecting on experience.” — John Dewey
Leadership in schools grows the same way. It’s shaped by the spaces we create to reflect, question, and learn together.
The School Leaders Innovation Forum: Newcastle and Hunter is one such space that brings together school leaders for a day of dialogue and shared thinking. This free, in-person professional learning event will include a keynote by Jenny Gore, along with an interactive workshop by QT Academy, and innovation showcases led by local leaders Simon Herd, Julian Ridden and Alyssa Swan, each sharing grounded strategies from their own leadership contexts.
Above all, this forum is about community. It is an opportunity for school leaders in the Newcastle and Hunter region to learn alongside one another, share what’s working (and what’s not!), and reconnect with the vision that sits at the heart of school leadership.
