Toddle is Carbon Neutral | Sustainability at Toddle

Empowering educators.
Protecting the planet.

Empowering educators is at the heart of what we do at Toddle. But we also believe our impact should extend beyond the classroom - to protecting the planet we call home. We are proud to share that as of April 2026, Toddle has been carbon neutral for two consecutive years now. We remain committed to further reducing our environmental impact in the years ahead.

Carbon neutral for 2+ years and counting

Our carbon footprint across years

Quantifying our environmental impact is the first step in holding ourselves accountable.

In 2025, as we grew with more schools and more features, our total emissions rose from 260 MTCO₂e in 2024 to 600 MTCO₂e in 2025. Growth brought a bigger footprint, yes, but also a bigger commitment towards the planet. More on that below.

We’ve reduced our emissions at the source

As a remote team with sustainable travel practices and optimized server usage, our carbon footprint is lower than other companies at our stage.

We’ve offset our emissions by investing in carbon removal projects

To address the emissions we haven’t yet eliminated, Toddle has invested in verified carbon removal projects that also offer social and environmental
benefits. Each of these projects meets stringent standards to ensure that the carbon credits we purchase are both high-quality and impactful.

We partner with smallholder farmers and rural entrepreneurs who convert agricultural waste into biochar - a process that helps sequester carbon in the soil for thousands of years while preventing air pollution from stubble burning, improving soil health and boosting yield & farmer incomes.
